BABY BASKET PROGRAM

A New Life is Born! It is a joy filled event for all involved. A young mother with very little means has just given birth to a new life.

When the mother and the baby are discharged from the hospital, imagine the young mother wrapping the newborn baby in paper towels as she walks through the hospital doors and begins the journey of nurturing the young newborn. It is not your imagination...it really happens!

Calvary Lutheran Church, located in Las Vegas, Nevada believes that a young life deserves an opportunity to thrive under God's guiding hand. That is why we established the Baby Basket Program.

This program prepares 20 baskets each month and provides them to local hospitals to be distributed to young mothers who have no means to provide for their newborn child. The baskets contain clothing, bottles, blankets, diapers and other necessities to sustain a newborn child.
